In God we trust?

What is God? God is the shadow, sneaking around wherever there is no light. god is the ghost in the machine, no matter how much you analyze it still evades you. God is the puppeteer pulling all the strings, but these strings stretch far into the infinite.
Understand this- you can search for God all your lives and you will still not find an answer. Each time you come close the answer flutters away like a swarm of butterflies. You can continue studying and each time you seem to come close science finds an explanation which deals away with any kind of God.
This is why religion fears science so much. Science, over the last few hundred years, has gone through religion and rendered many of its beliefs obsolete. No longer is the earth or small flat surface at the center of a small universe, no longer do we need to make sacrifices of food and whine, no longer must we beg on our knees for repentance and no longer must we fear that our death will bring punishment for our lives.
But so far science and understanding has not been on the offensive, science has never actually attacked religion. Never has science made the claim that religion is false, never has science said that there is no god. It is religion that attacks science, always has and still does. Science has only been ever on the defense.

But times are changing. The time of reckoning is drawing close. It is time that science does go on the attack, it is time for reason to make its move, time for understanding to start the offensive. It is time that we eliminate religion from within ourselves!
Remember, if you truly want to find God you must first decide what God is. Only then will you be able to find true enlightenment.
